Layla York
Courses Coordinator
As the Courses Coordinator at CPPD, Layla deals with all things curricular: admissions, timetables, essays submissions, presentations, placements and general course enquiries making her a central point of call for groups and individuals inside and outside the organisation.
Layla’s background
Layla joined CPPD in December 2020 after 15 years in the events industry. She was previously the Groups & Events Planning Manager at Marriott Hotels, managing a team of 10 event planners across 5 luxury London Hotels.
Before that, Layla worked for a small events agency for 12 years, running the events and administration for the British Society of Magazine Editors, the Editorial Design Organisation and managing events for various other high-profile media clients.
Layla’s approach
Layla will and usually is the first point of contact for students and all general enquiries here at CPPD. Drawing on her vast experience, Layla understands that as first point of contact, communication is king.
Layla makes it her mission to make sure that every one of these enquiries and exchanges is dealt with as professionally, compassionately and as helpful as possible.

Our Counselling
Our counselling sessions aim to give you, the client, an opportunity to explore personal issues in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental setting. All done with a highly experienced counsellor.
Our Courses
We have a whole range of course that run in the evening and weekends. Which means we offer real flexibility for people in employment, or with busy family lives, who want to train in counselling.
