Ethan Monroe
Principal Certificate Tutor
Ethan is a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. He works in private practice in Haggerston, East London, working with both individuals and intimate partners. He trained at CPPD.
Ethan’s background
Ethan comes from a background in the creative arts. He has made documentary films, published several short stories, as well as writing and performing in theatre shows and live art pieces that speak about sexuality, screen addiction and connection.
Ethan’s approach
Ethan comes to this work, both as a therapist and teacher, with immense curiosity. He is endlessly fascinated with people’s stories. His creativity and curiosity underpins all of the work that he does with clients and students. He’s also a big proponent in finding and using humour (when appropriate) in his work.
In private practice, Ethan frequently works with anxiety, relationship/attachment issues, and LGBTQ+ folks. He also often works with heterosexual cisgendered men looking to explore their deeper emotions. His approach is relational.
A word from Ethan
“I have a deep passion for this work and love supporting clients and students in their own self discovery.”
