Our courses are unique in that they are facilitated during evenings and weekends.
This enables our students to study whilst continuing to operate in their busy working lives. Students are able to study for one year at a time, and, as we recognise that studying and training for a new career can be challenging, support is offered throughout the students’ personal and professional journey with CPPD.
The training will be 70% face-to-face and 30% online (via zoom) as required by BACP. In order to undertake the training, the conditions of participation require that you make the necessary time commitment for the course. For all online sessions you will need:
• A good internet connection
• Suitable technology/devices
• A professional zoom account
• The technical ability to work online
• A private space in which to attend
This equally applies to any online therapy sessions involving client work, if permitted by the course and the placement. For all online training sessions, you will need to be fully present with your video camera on throughout, unless otherwise directed or permitted. You should observe appropriate ‘netiquette’ (e.g. not engaging in ‘private’ text or other communication with other group members during sessions, microphones on mute when not speaking, if so directed). Student attendance will be monitored for online and in person sessions.
